Download the official Android app

Get the latest Alctoin build directly from us. Your browser may warn about installs outside the Play Store, that is normal for a signed release you trust.

Checking for the latest package…

Install & trust (Android)

Phones protect you from random downloads. Alctoin is distributed as an APK you install manually, and your device may show scary wording even for legitimate apps. Follow these steps:

1

Download finishes

When the full file has finished downloading, open your notification shade or the Downloads folder and tap the APK (for example Alctoin-1-0-0.apk). If install says “problem parsing the package”, the file did not finish downloading — delete it and tap Download APK again.

2

Allow this browser or source

Android will ask you to allow installs from the app you used (e.g. Chrome). Toggle Allow from this source for that one install. You can turn it off again afterward in Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps.

3

Install & open

Confirm Install, then open Alctoin. Sign in with the same credentials you created in the app (the website does not host a login, everything sensitive happens in the app).

4

Verify you are on the right build

Compare the version shown on this page with what you see in the app’s about/settings screen after updating. The SHA-256 on this page matches the file we host, advanced users can verify integrity if needed.

Why the warnings? Google Play is not the only safe channel, banks and enterprises ship APKs too. Warnings appear because the APK did not come from Play’s automated review. Only download from this official site or links your team shares.
